About the author

Noel Bell was born and brought up in Dublin and at a young age visited London initially for a three-week holiday and has been there ever since. Noel has returned to Ireland for short visits over the years and has witnessed the coming and going of the Celtic Tiger in that time. He graduated from Middlesex University with a BA (hons) degree in history &  political studies and was fortunate enough to go to California State University Sacramento on exchange trip for one semester as part of  that course.  Noel has worked in project management, mainly public sector organisations, throughout his time in London. He has also completed a master’s degree in modern european studies at  London Metropolitan University and his dissertation was on the causes of the Irish economic boom. In his own words it is perhaps time to do some work on the causes of the ensuing crash.  Noel Bell is a keen  photographer and loves to capture sunsets. He loves interacting with people and interviews people for radio broadcast. He  is currently studying part-time for a postgraduate diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy having always pondered the deep and meaningful questions about why we are here, who we are really and how we can transcend our thinking and consciousness. Noel blogs about issues in psychotherapy from his lectures and course reading.

Disclaimer: I am a psychotherapist in training. I, therefore, do not provide psychotherapeutic services via this blog.  If you are experiencing a crisis, call your personal therapist, go to your local hospital accident and emergency room or dial 999. I wish you all the best.

  4. I’m a grad student in the US, focusing on depth psycotherapy (primarily object relations and Jungian orientations). It, too, am interested in “the deep and meaningful questions” especially as they play in the psyche and among people.
